About Us

Our History

Siping Shaolin Martial Arts Academy is located in the beautiful town of Yehe on the bank of Yehe Nara lake. It is a historical and culturally rich place being the birthplace of the Yehe Manchu and the hometown of the Empress Dowager Cixi of the Qing Dynasty. The beautiful environment, the mountains and the rivers are all connected making it the best place to study martial arts.

Che Wenlong, the founder of our academy, studied martial arts his entire childhood. Later in 1987 he graduated from the vocational college of Siping City. In 1995, our academy was established as a privately-run school with national recognition. Ever since we have been considered a second home to more than 4,000 foreign students from all around the world.

Our School

Our academy had a very humble beginning but over the years we have grown to cover over 60,000 square meters of land. Not only does our academy cover a decent amount of real estate but we were able to establish professional relationships with martial arts associations and schools in many countries abroad such as the Russian Far Eastern University.

In 2003, Siping Shaolin Martial Arts Academy was invited by the Wushu Association of the People’s Republic of Mongolia to travel to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia for a two-week martial arts performance. In 2004, at the invitation of the Korea Police Martial Arts Federation, we were invited to Seoul, South Korea for a two-month martial arts performance. The same year a friendly unit was established with the Korean Police Martial Arts Federation. It’s purpose was to “Strengthen the exchange of martial arts culture between the two countries and enhance the friendship of its people

Our Surroundings

One of the many advantages of living and training on top of a mountain is the view of both the sunrise and the sunset. Each sunrise and sunset is different from the previous day and the following day. We experience all four seasons to it’s fullest and all fours season are beautiful in their own way. A couple of meters from our academy we have the Yehe Ancient Castle full of rich history about the Yehe Manchu family and the Qing Dynasty. Located behind the academy there is a ski resort that is open to the public in the winter. Also, located behind the Yehe Ancient Castle is a lake where you’re able to ice skate, fish and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Take advantage of not only the training we provide but our beautiful surroundings all year round.
